With any backlighting and high-speed connectivity, and a 32” monitor this camera has performed great! Simple functionality and no complex connectivity. Easy plug & play setup, very minimal attachment process. Camera stays put. I would recommend!!

Wonderful device for getting better eye contact. Best feature is that the design allows you to move the camera bar away from the screen when the camera is not in use. It does NOT have the ability to zoom the camera, and the camera bar sits a little lower than my eyes but I have made it work.

The camera helps to see and look the other person in its eye. Quality is really good. also zoom function is great. I love it and can recommend it.

This goes a long way to giving better eye contact in on-line meetings. Having the camera drop down in fount of the screen allows you to position it closer to the image you want to look at. The camera and boom are small enough that it does not cover much and you can still see a great deal. The image of the camera is pretty decent. Better than some of my older but top of the line at the time cameras. I have gotten no complaints about audio quality from the other side either, but I can’t really give that much of a test as I need to use headphones most of the time in my meetings anyway and I tend to work in areas with background people moving and talking.
The parts that are not perfect are that the boom only drops down about 3 inches from the top of my screen and I have a large monitor. So I am still needing to look up to see the camera. This would work better on a smaller screen or a laptop. The boom is longer than that, but there is a mounting bracket to go past too. I would like to have one where I could still extend the boom a ways after unfolding it. When the boom is stowed, you can still use the camera, but the image is well 90 deg. What I would like to see is some sensor to tell the software you are using the orientation of the camera so it can compensate.
I have tried quite a few web cameras and have used them extensively. The image quality of this one is really good, the form factor could use some improvements. In my setup, I don’t think it worth the price and more of a gimmick. It could be exactly what you need in a different setup. If you are doing job interviews from a laptop, this could be just the thing! Gimmick aside, it got me to try this camera out from a brand I probably would not have thought to try before and now I know that it is worth considering the next time I am needing to look for a new camera.

Camera serves its purpose, but does not come with its’ own software (windows), so enhancements or adjustments tweaked through 3rd party software. I would rate it higher if it had its own software like other cameras (Logitech).

Alright, it’s sort of sad that no good options exist to fix eye contact issues when using a monitor. Your options are this, then the plexi something which is a fancy plastic thing for $150 or get a tripod or something which does not work for zoom calls.
That said here is the good and not so good about this. The camera is not Logitech! First it is an average camera equivalent to a $50 cheap camera. It’s no Brio.
However it is good enough for general meetings. Not great if you are a content creator. I recommend getting the plexi something and get a high quality Logitech camera.
But it works and is not obstructive when working on a monitor. Well you get used to it. It’s better than the plexi something. It is low profile enough to not be super buggy.
There is no lens cover, but you can buy one from their website site for $8. Why? Well they know you will so they can charge for it.
The camera arm does not adjust. So you will need to change the height of your monitor. Really? Yes. Maybe in the next version.
When folded up, the camera does not swivel which means your video is vertical. Some conference apps allow you to fix that, however it seems you are on your iPhone as it is no longer wide length. On windows you can use apps such as Camo to fix that. But seriously why not let it swivel?
Overall, it works and does what it is supposed do. But for this price these basics should have been fixed along with a better quality camera. Let’s hope they can fix it in v2 or Logitech comes out with this obvious feature. Or Zoom or Google can figure out how to use AI to fix eye contact / panning in real time on commodity laptops. Until then this is good enough, just does not feel worth $190!!!
Ps if you plan to use a usb hub or a docking station it is sort of buggy on windows. Either get a docking station with its own power or have fewer usb devices connected otherwise it refuses to turn on.

I strongly recommend reading reviews before purchasing this product. Unfortunately, this has been one of my worst purchases on Amazon.
1. The camera arrived in an open, dirty box — definitely not new.
2. There is visible dust under the lens, which affects image quality.
3. It doesn’t work with Google Meet or Zoom — the camera simply doesn’t display anything.
4. The software constantly prompts for an update, but nothing happens when I click it.
5. Overall, very dissatisfied with this product. Feels like a cheap piece of plastic with no proper quality control.

Great concept. Okay function. Aiming is not centered, and the controlling software (iContact Control) is odd in that it shows up as a camera all by itself. Also, iContract Control is not particularly reactive… changes are not automatically reflected in the camera view, which is annoying, and odd, because it is NOT the camera nor its microphone. Also, the camera is NOT centered well. It must be well off-center (2 inches from far left) to for me to be centered in the frame. Not highly recommended.
