Sure it’s pricy compared to typical webcams. But this isnt a typical webcam. Its one of those typically very expensive ptz autimatic cameras for the everyman.
This is a high quality product. I have a sit stand desk and this keeps track of me on the fly when I am in calls and my desk is being adjusted. I can even stand and present in my small home office. Picture is excellent and is easy to use. It has a folding arm to attach to monitors as well as a screw mount for a camera tripod so it’s versatile.
You can configure with a personal computer for use with a work laptop where software may be restricted and it remembers your settings which is very good. Works with my kvm setup too.
The mic is ok. Adequate if you use it at your desk but I’d invest in a discreet headset or quality earbuds if you prefer to stand further away. I won’t rate it down for this as webcam microphones have never been the best and are really a backup for when you don’t have better hardware to hand.

I recently purchased the OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite in search of a quality 4K webcam that would enhance my live streaming experience—and it has far exceeded my expectations. From the very start, the setup was a breeze: it was true plug-and-play with Windows recognizing the camera instantly, and the included QR code made downloading the necessary software and updates a snap.
The standout features for me have been the innovative AI tracking and the exceptional microphone quality. The camera impressively follows my movements, always keeping me centered on screen—even as I move around in my chair. I love that I can use simple hand gestures to command the camera to zoom in or out. Its swivel base, capable of a full 360-degree rotation and a 180-degree tilt, ensures that I’m always captured perfectly from any angle.
Despite its compact size, the build quality of this camera is robust and built to last. While the streaming software I used initially capped the resolution at 720p, the image quality was smooth and clear, making it a significant upgrade from my old webcam. Although the price is a bit higher than some other models, the advanced tracking and flexible movement capabilities make it a worthwhile investment—especially for those who value dynamic, high-quality live streaming.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and look forward to discovering even more of its features. Highly recommended for anyone serious about their streaming setup!

Update!
On Linux, you can use Cameractls to control the camera. The presets do not work great, or there’s some trick I don’t know, but you can manually control PTZ, color / brightness / resolution etc.
If you are using the preview, or it’s actively sending signal to Discord or OBS etc, it will not go to sleep.
Using this on PopOS Cosmic (Linux) with Gnome (Wayland) and it works fine. Seriously, no 3rd party software required for hand gestures to work right away.
The USB C cable had a USB A adapter attached, don’t need it for my system but certainly handy for others.
The video is crisp, excellent light and focus. Zoom just works.
The only issue I perceive is if you aren’t moving around enough for a few minutes it may get bored and go to sleep on you. This might be something you can manage with settings

I’ve had this webcam for a few months now, and feel I can review my experience with it. YMMV, but with my setup (Ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB DDR4, 2x 1TB Samsung SSDs, NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti), I’ve had mostly smooth performance from this little guy.
It’s TINY! Pictures make this thing out to be the size of a zoom lens for a DSLR, but it’s slightly bigger than a D-cell battery. The threaded attachment point for stands, tripods, etc. works very well for my setup; I added a Neewer pole-style clamp mount to my desk that firmly holds the camera in place. As the base of the camera folds clamshell-style, it was easy to position the camera exactly where I want.
The software is super handy for changing any OOTB configuration, such as default image settings and PTZ position. There is a virtual camera option that is SUPER handy, as it allows you to use the camera (via selecting the virtual cam) in multiple apps at the same time. I do wish the software were a bit lighter, seems to use some GPU/CPU cycles, but it’s pretty responsive and unobtrusive.
Image quality: very, very good! I’m coming from a Microsoft LifeCam HD-5000 with a max output of 1280×720@30fps. I’m used to very poor low-light performance, FPS and shutter speed dropping to a smeared mess. This camera performs exceptionally well in low-light, though I’d recommend staying at 1080p@30 or 720p@30 if you want the best performance.
Mic: Haven’t really used it much, I actually have it disabled via the OBSBOT Center, but it worked well enough when I tried it!
Stuttering/frame drops: I’ve switched USB ports, ensured the camera was on it’s own USB bus, and have updated the firmware and software, but I can’t shake the random frame drops I’m seeing at just about any output resolution/FPS. It’s random, sometimes just a blip, sometimes a string of dropped frames, but it appears to be between the OS and the camera; I don’t think it’s the sensor having issues. I can mostly get away from it using 720p@30, but still occasionally happens. Mind you, this did not happen with my HD-5000 camera. It could be that because this camera uses USB2.0 and MJPEG for most resolutions, there’s a bandwidth constraint or issues with the encoding, but it happens regardless of using the cam directly vs virtual driver, and regardless of software running. I’m working with it for now, it certainly could be something on my computer, but all other USB devices are fine and no issues with performance on my system.
I do recommend this camera for sure, it’s a solid value and the AI-based tracking is excellent!

Great little camera. Basic setup was very easy. Website was kind of laggy but if you get their desktop application too then it’s very powerful. Tracking, zoom, focus all excellent. Not useful to me, but AI cleanup for presenter functions work and seem pretty powerful (dark circles under eyes removed, various effects). Ability to setup at a virtual camera feed (to pass through tools like OBS) also helpful if streaming.

This Product Is amazing!
It has 1080p60 resolution and makes streaming very easy with its AI capabilities. Being able to zoom in and out while having the camera follow my face is a great mechanic to have. The best part is its OBSbot app capabilities. All the settings I’ve already mentioned and more are completely customizable to the user’s best interest. You can use this camera for work, meetings, school, YouTube, streaming, and more. For a budget camera, it is amazing!
