There is no better multi-monitor portable monitor, period. I used to have other portable monitors that attach to the laptop, etc, and they’re much heavier and bulkier than this. This is probably one of the best things I’ve bought. Being able to travel with 3 monitors is amazing! It’s small and lightweight. It’s a perfect plug-and-play solution that just works with no troubleshooting. Just plug it in. The screen quality and brightness is excellent. The little folding stand works great and is extremely stable.

Very good set up once you have worked out the cable side. Nice product. The 13″ is let down by the lack of a magnetic cover being able to act as a portable stand. This is not available in the uk. Sorted by a third party folding stand but a shame. Tried the 15″ but does not work with the 13″.

What can I say. After the disasterous touchscreen model, I decided to give JSAUX another chance. They kindly accepted the replacement, and advised I got the pro model. This is 100% better. Firstly, many laptops won’t allow 5 external displays (including the laptop screen), but with a click of a button on the left side, presto, a monitor becomes a huge screen.
As I trade and use tradingview all the time, this makes me a mobile warrior. Really wonderful configuration, and the high res at 2.2k is way better than 1080p, you can feel the better display and better graphics. You may see your background disjointed, but thats cause its stretched, move to a better wallpaper to combat that. Overall, a great great great product and way better than the touchscreen.

At least, it used to. When I originally wrote this review, it was rated at 3 stars. Two months in, my touchscreen doesn’t work in any capacity. Taking a look at JSAUX’s website, you’ll see that all FlipGo flavours come with zero warranty coverage unless you buy insurance through the company. I already had a sour taste in my mouth after the consistent glitches and repetitive fixing of this device’s shortcomings, but I can no longer recommend this in any capacity, namely and especially if you intend to use the touchscreen.
This review is for the FlipGo Touch in the 16″ flavour. This is the lowest-rating I’ve posted on a device I continue to use every day, months-in (updated March 29, 2025)
This monitor is not for people who prefer plug-and-play solutions with no troubleshooting or configuration needed. This is evidenced by the required Windows setup to get the touchscreen working at all, or else the touch input will just map to your main display by default, even if the FlipGo is displaying its own separate content.
The firmware of the monitor (thankfully, upgradable) also does not properly safeguard against the monitor’s own technical limitations. The monitor needs ample power to support bright output when using DP Alt-Mode. The firmware of the monitor does not prevent the user from setting 100% brightness when it’s not connected to sufficient power, which results in the video posted above. No, this is not my camera’s refresh rate misaligning to the display’s refresh rate; this is exactly what it looks like in person.
I am prone to seizures. When the manual says that the brightness output is lowered when not connected to dedicated power, I thought it implied that the maximum brightness would simply be lowered, not that the device would malfunction at maximum brightness. This could be addressed in software; this functionality is a choice.
Aside from that, the display contrast and color reproduction is sufficient, very clearly reaching 100% sRGB at least.
There is no meaningful stand included, and the weight of the item begs the question of how it can possibly be sold or used without splurging for another accessory. Out of the box, I can only use this propped against a wall to have it vaguely resemble a normal laptop and keyboard setup, as shown. It comes with an orange folio that does keep the device upright, but the slightest wobble can and will cause your $600 investment to crash down, and so it cannot be considered an actual stand. There’s also a black foldable “stand”… which holds your device almost perfectly straight up… so the slightest forward bump will cause the monitor to tumble. This is even more of a waste of material than the folio.
I’ve only owned this for two hours, but I have had such a poor taste left in my mouth that this is a consumer product being sold, rather than a prototype or something you’d see only at CES.
When it works, the monitor works… okay. Sometimes. Often when I’m using Windows, the touchscreen goes out on at least one display and I have to recalibrate it, even if I didn’t disconnect any cables. I can hear the digitiser disconnect via Windows when the item is at idle.
For its asking price, there are a myriad of kinks to iron out and absolutely cannot be recommended for the asking price. For this FlipGo Touch 16″, I would place its market value against other competitors at around $450.
If you can get it on sale and you don’t actually care about the touchscreen and just prefer glass screens, maybe go for it?
Update after three days:
I am quite frankly disappointed with taste of regret after using this product for three days. It is almost certainly getting returned due to its many failures and borderline defects. Using this is supposed to make my computing experience easier, but it is now am exercise and chore.

Could be a 5 star product despite the price tag. The monitor does all that it says it does at about twice the cost of other portable dual displays that do the same thing with these exceptions.

I am generally pleased with my purchase so far. I like the soft rubber feet on the bottom of the display almost engineered to use a kickstand but sadly it doesn’t come with one. The 13.5in doesn’t seem to have any of the issues people who purchased the16in have reported. The display runs fine with just a single cable for me. Providing dedicated power to the display does offer pass through charging which is nice to have. I was using a 170w charger and saw about 60w passing through but I wasn’t under any load in my test and my battery was already topped off. Either usb-c port could be used for charging or display in but stick to one or you will have to re organize your display settings as the screens will be identified differently. The only downside is if you want get take advantage of the features of this product expect to spend another $100 on accessories.
I get companies cutting corners to save money but Jsaux has no excuse for what they are charging. At this price you should not expect these two items and that is why I removed a star:
1- the cover stand as a separate purchase… Shame on you Jsaux. Throw the separate “where do I store this” cheap stand and the “must remove in order to use” cover you did include in the garbage and give your customers a truly portable product. I can only imagine the embarrassment of anyone trying to set this display up for any temporary use case without the stand cover. They would have all these different things they have to fumble with making
you look absolutely ridiculous taking it out. Not to mention exposing the display to vulnerability since there is nothing fixing it to the included afterthought stand. It’s just waiting to be accidentally knocked down. Why this doesn’t have a built in sturdy kickstand at this price I have no idea. This is my second dual screen portable monitor and the other at least came with the magnetic cover stand included for the $259 I paid for that dual 2k 60hz displays. Now I have to answer this question, “Why did I buy this one?”, because my father managed to blow those up… don’t ask… so I was forced to buy another set of displays. I never buy the same thing twice unless I love it, and I love nothing! And I wanted to try the benefits given by Jsaux’s offering.
2- The power brick with it’s non-removable charging 30 feet of cable. The brick is fabulous but ruined by that cord. WTF? Jsaux knows they just screwed the consumer out of two products that they charged us for by fusing them together to save a dollar on a usb port. If any of the two parts break they are both trash, thank you Jsaux. If you wanted to save money just don’t give us a charger at all and pass some of the savings onto the customer but I understand.. it’s hard to justify your exaggerated price tag for these 60hz non 4k displays. To make it worse the cord takes up more space than the brick to store, how is this travel friendly when portability should be at the forefront of your thinking. So basically it goes in the old phone charger bin. It’s sad because it is a 65w GAN charger but can’t justify carrying around all that copper. I don’t know the exact length of the cord as I don’t want to be responsible for organizing it back together.
My honest opinion is the price should be more like $350 because it does offer some things that gives it an edge over similar products but is missing things like an appropriate stand, and a modular charger. If you don’t might the diminishing return on this purchase it is a decent gadget for your mobile setup. At the current price it would have been 5 stars with or without the charger if it would have had 120hz and a magnetically attached rigid kickstand
I tested this product with a GPD Duo. Form factor is a decent compliment to the laptop so that you can have a mobile 4 screen workstation.
Something for anyone thinking of using these displays with an egpu. There is only one HDMI port for the “Pro” models. This effectively forcing you to use both displays as a single display which is not ideal for gaming or using it as a main display but at these refresh rates you wouldn’t want to anyway.
Jsaux V2 improvements:
Increase resolution. Increase refresh rate at least at lower resolutions. Put the other HDMI port back for GPU connectivity. Include a magnetic kickstand.
