Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse, HERO 25K Sensor, 25,600 DPI, RGB, Adjustable Weights, 11 Programmable Buttons, Long Battery Life, On-Board Memory, PC / Mac
I’m writing this review coming from being a huge G502 WIRED mouse user. I absolutely love the wired version of this mouse because of the infinite scroll wheel which can turn to the clicky scroller on a quick button press. The second reason why i love this mouse is the completely awesome ergonomics not just from the way the mouse is sculpted to fit your hand perfectly, but also the adjustable mouse weights under the hood. Lets you completely customize the way the mouse feels and drags on your surface exactly the way you want.
How could it get any better? WIRELESS.
This mouse feels almost identical to the wired version except you dont have any wires. The internal battery lasts several days of use. Certainly for me, given continual use in a 9-10hour workday, I’ve only had to charge it once a week. To ensure I never run out of battery, I’ve purchased an inexpensive charging dock “Soarking Charging Dock for Logitech” to go with this.
Logitech driver is sort of bloatware but at least quite functional. Allows you to adjust the LED lighting, as well as customize DPI and button settings. A dedicated DPI shift button allows you to change dpi “on the fly” briefly and thats convenient if you are gaming or for me, i like have the DPIshift button slow it down for finer control sometimes (esp when editing photos in adobe lightroom).
I highly recommend this mouse if you are already an avid G502 wired mouse user. This just makes an amazing mouse, one step better with the wire free hassle.

I recently upgraded my gaming setup with the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer in every sense. As a passionate gamer, here’s why I think this mouse is a top-notch choice:
**Wireless Freedom:** The transition to wireless with the G502 Lightspeed has been seamless. The wireless connection is reliable and lag-free, providing the freedom of movement I need during intense gaming sessions without any compromises on performance.
**Exceptional Sensor:** The Hero 25K sensor in this mouse is truly impressive. It delivers precise tracking and responsiveness, ensuring that every movement and flick of the mouse translates accurately in-game. Whether I’m sniping from a distance or engaging in fast-paced action, the sensor’s performance is impeccable.
**Customizability:** One of the standout features of the G502 Lightspeed is its customizability. From programmable buttons to tunable weights, every aspect of the mouse can be adjusted to suit personal preferences and gaming styles. This level of customization has allowed me to optimize the mouse for different games and scenarios effortlessly.
**Comfort and Ergonomics:** Despite its feature-packed design, the G502 Lightspeed remains comfortable to use even during extended gaming sessions. The ergonomic shape fits snugly in my hand, providing excellent support and reducing fatigue. This makes it a pleasure to use for both gaming and everyday tasks.
**PowerPlay Compatibility:** I also appreciate the PowerPlay compatibility, which allows for wireless charging while gaming. This feature ensures that the mouse is always ready for action without the hassle of swapping batteries or dealing with charging cables.
**Lightsync RGB:** Lastly, the Lightsync RGB lighting adds a touch of style to my gaming setup. The customizable RGB lighting zones not only look great but also provide visual cues and alerts during gameplay, enhancing the immersive experience.
In conclusion, the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse has exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Its combination of wireless freedom, precision, customizability, comfort, and aesthetic appeal makes it a standout choice for any gamer looking to elevate their gaming experience. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about gaming and looking for a reliable, high-performance gaming mouse.

I bought this mouse quite a while back now and it hasn’t disappointed me in the slightest. All mice that I’ve owned before seem to be dirt collectors, unlike this mouse. This is the first true gaming mouse I’ve ever owned also. It has a lot of programmable buttons and speed sensitivity levels. It tracks perfectly and it feels nice in your hand. I’ll be sticking with similar mice from Logitech in the future! Well worth the price I spent for it!!!

Used the wired one for 7 years and it’s still in amazing condition. Now I live in a tiny studio with a small desk that can feel cluttered very quickly. Treated myself to the wireless mouse and it’s the same incredible mouse like the OG in terms of performance, customization and premium looks and feel. Please do not stop manufacturing this mouse.

OVERAL OPINION.
I’ve owned this mouse for a month now and I absolutely love it. The battery lasts for days, charges fast, beautiful RGB lighting and you can remap all the buttons on the mouse. The mouse is not that heavy but does come with weights that you can customize. The buttons feel crisp and I love the additional GB and G7 buttons located near the left click. I never found myself accidentally activating them as they are in a good spot, requiring you to intentionally press them.
DPI BUTTON ISSUE:
The only issue I have is the default DPI button which is located near your right thumb. I have activated it on accident on occasion and have had to train myself to not place my thumb as high. You can however completely disable the DPI button on the GHUB software. You can actually remap the button to whatever key you want.
SCROLL WHEEL:
I love that the scroll wheel can be unlocked and spin infinitely and quite fast as well. Perfect for scrolling through text and browsing the web. Only downside is when you activate the button to keep the wheel from spinning, It feels quite stiff and unpolished. Best way to describe it is cheap plastic. Its not really noticeable when gaming however.
As for longevity I will keep my review updated. So far I’m very happy with the built and quality of the mouse and am a happy customer.

Pros: Mouse
Cons: Software/micro usb
The mouse is built well. I’ve had mine a little over 7 months now and it’s taken a tumble a couple times and tanked it no problems. Very responsive, never had an issue with latency or anything of the sort. Solid mouse. Logitech’s GHUB software to manage it is another thing.. notorious for being crap and yeah it’s annoying. If you don’t mind fiddling/re-installing the stupid software a couple times then yeah I can easily recommend this mouse.
* I should mention the newer G502X lightspeed. I initially picked up both but preferred this one (G502 Lightspeed). The battery life is noticeably better on the new G502X LS. The thumb button feels better on it too and yes it charges/connects via USB-C which is very convenient but all that aside this is still much better in form factor. The buttons and scroll wheel feel much higher quality on this model and are upgradable, unlike the new G502X. Lots of options.. but I can say from experience it is preference. Either are a solid choice.
