For the price, you simply can’t beat this mouse. It’s precise, clicks feel satisfying, and it looks sleek. The first thing I noticed with this mouse was the size. It is super light and felt a little bit small at first which was drastically different from the Razor Deathadder and Steel Series Sensai I had used in the past. Although jarring at first, I now like the smaller profile. The only problem from it’s size arises from the side buttons. How the mouse sits comfortably in my hand doesn’t allow me to press the side buttons nearly as well as I might like to. I have a larger hand and it might just be part of the process of getting adjusted to a new mouse so I won’t deduct any stars for it.
The light on the back of it looks cool although it is noticeably brighter than my previous mouses. The first night I had it, I work up in the middle of the night wondering why my room was so illuminated. I have since downloaded the software to adjust the brightness which helped out.
The DPI adjuster cycles through settings in just a click which is convenient but I don’t see any practical use for it outside of initially calibrating it to your preference.
I no-lifed for way longer than I’d like to admit the first day I got it because I was so pleased with it’s performance. Fantastic mouse, fantastic price.

Paired perfectly with my iCue software. All RGB lighting works perfectly and beyond. Glides great on my cloth mousepad and on my wooden desk as well. The wire is however a bit shorter than the regular Harpoon I had, but it’s not that noticeable. A side note however, the wire itself is lower quality than its competitors, but makes up for it in price and quality. It was delivered to me with no problem. A truly flawless budget mouse for intermediate gamers. The DPI settings goes to 12000 as advertised and the DPI button works. The scroll wheel has a bit of drag behind it but it works good for being accurate with scrolling in games. It also has a middle click which is also in most gaming mice. It is light as advertised and may feel cheap at first, but performed extremely well. There is no mouse drag, but the wire does at times, become stiff and may move the mouse slightly (not a lot, only a centimeter at most). It is also a slightly smaller mouse which is perfect for good grip. For this price, it certainly is worth buying.

I bought this one on Amazon as a back up actually, because I love the first one, and current one, of 2 years; I couldn’t stand the thought of losing it and never being able to find a replacement, so I bought it now! It’s large enough to hold my hand, with simple and use to use side buttons makes gaming and editing easy as can be, the buttons can be reprogrammed easily and are very useful. You don’t have many, but enough to be useful but not overwhelming. The light up part is cool and adds color to a desk. The center cut in the mouse is a nice texture you feel while using that is enjoyable. It slides well and I haven’t had a problem with it for 2 years.

When you first feel the mouse, you may think it feels so light it must be cheap garbage. But the amount of times i’ve dropped it, and it still works perfectly* shows it’s not at all. It does the job with no fuss and doesn’t fizz out on you like i’ve had multiple other brands’ mice do. Some of which cost over twice as much.
The only reasins tjis isn’t perfect are: when i wake my computer back up from sleep, i have to unplug and replug the mouse, or it double-clicks every time. Somewhat annoying but doable.
And second, its software/firmware. It lacks a lot of the versatility you’d expect. Some programs will recognize its side buttons as mouse 3 and 4; some as forward and back. This can be insanely annoying when you’re, say, wanting to use a sidw button as a Discord push-ro-talk but, when you’re in your browser, it does that, with Discord reading it as Mouse 3,while the browser reads it as Back and boots you back a page. You can rebind them to various things but it’s an annoyinf workaround. Honestly, in a perfect world this would be 1 stars. But it’s so long aince i’ve had a mouse that hasn’t died on me after a few months, i guess i’m grading on a steel curve.

The size is nice for the hand. We had two and they started to go on us after years and decided to get the same one to replace them. Nice simple mouse that works.

I have bought my third mouse for this model. I love it, basic and simple for gaming. Several sensitivity settings at the click of a button to your liking. I have replaced it every 2 years or so, scroll wheel starts to act up and not work properly and side rubber wears. But after two years at this price, I’m not mad!

The Corsair Harpoon PRO RGB Gaming Mouse is fantastic! The 12,000 DPI optical sensor offers precise control, and the lightweight design makes it super comfortable for long gaming sessions. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, and it’s easy to customize. The buttons feel responsive, and the overall build quality is excellent. A solid choice for gamers looking for a high-performance, budget-friendly mouse!

As the title says.
This has been a great, affordable gaming mouse option for me.
There was a short sad period when it started double clicking (‘I knew I should have gotten a little more expensive one for durability!’ – not always work out that way obviously, but the dumb consumer me).
But then I saw on their website(?) that it might be caused by their latest driver, which is, I think a little dumb, but I downgraded the driver as their suggestion/instruction and it magically fixed the issue.
Have been using it without issue after then (except when it constantly tells me that there’s a driver update available for my mouse! I’m not falling for that!)

I’ve never been the kind of person who buys name brand mice, keyboards, headsets, etc. (as it’s always far cheaper to buy those cheap chinese ones you see for 25% of the name brand price) – but I bought a Corsair headset on sale not too long ago and fell in love with Corsair’s build quality, and being in the market for a new proper gaming mouse I decided I’d go with a Corsair to match my headset. The mouse has served me quite well so far with no hiccups aside from occasionally cleaning lint or dust from my desk off of the laser, and works with Corsair’s iCUE software for great dpi customization. I’d like it if the mouse had maybe one more programmable button, but I can’t complain too much about it at this price point. If you’re looking for a great gaming mouse on the more wallet-friendly side, give this one a shot.
