I was looking for a lightweight device to browse the internet, check email via a web portal and do some research with while sitting in my recliner watching TV. This fit the bill perfectly. The device is very sturdy and no screen flexing as I have seen in other devices. If anyone is looking for a Chromebook this is a solid choice. As long as people understand that a Chromebook is not a tool you would use to do high-end or graphically driven computing. But to stream video content and surf the internet it is fantastic. This model has a excellent 1080P screen and top facing speakers making for an excellent video streaming experience. Highly Recommend!

Sleek design and look. The latest technology, built-in virus protection, fast start-up, super fast loading and browsing. All super lightweight. The perfect size for a carry-on, travel, business, student. All for a very affordable price. I have been very happy with my purchase. The only disappointment was discovering the pre-loaded Google AI and Adobe Express are all 30-day trials that require paid monthly subscriptions to continue. But beyond that, it’s a good machine packed full of speed and efficiency and worth every cent spent. Packed well, shipped safely, and delivered with care.

There was a split in the base in the back on one side. It was well packed in the box. It probably had been damaged during construction. I doubt that this is a common problem with Acer computers. Eventually I bought a more advanced Acer on sale of this type from Best Buy.

I’ve been using this laptop for a couple of months now. I love the way it boots up very quickly and the screen size is bigger than I expected, so that’s a bonus for me. This was a used item, that you’d never know it or by the way it functions. I’m very happy.
