This is the second of these I have purchased. It updates to Chrome Plus as soon as you start up. It’s fast, Great display, rugged design.

Happy customer, laptop works beautifully only downfall comes with American plug although being sent to Australia. I was lucky and have another Acer that had Australian plug that is interchangeable with power unit.

This is one of the best built laptops I have ever owned. It’s sturdy, powerful, and has an awesome screen. I love that you can charge it in an hour and use it for 10. Buy it.

Don’t expect the keyboard to work after 6 months. Out of nowhere it wants to be in tablet mode 24/7

I thought I was spoiled by my old Macbook Air but the Acer Chromebook 713 has blown it & everything else around here away. The keyboard is outstanding to type on. Best I’ve experienced in a long while. Excellent battery life too & fits in my bag with my iPad Pro just fine. Great deal all the way around.

I am mostly happy with this computer. I upgraded from a 5 year old chromebook, and I am amazed at how much faster this one is. This is in the mid range for price on chromebooks, and I think its a reasonable price (not a screaming deal.) There are two very annoying things about this laptop, and they are the only reason I marked it down to four stars: there is exactly ONE USB port – maddening! I got a small USB hub for a few dollars and remedied that problem. The second problem is it is difficult to open and close the computer. You can’t just flip the top up, you have to pry the two sides apart. I’ve decided to just leave it ajar, as this is a home computer anyway, but this could be a deal breaker for someone wanting a travel computer.

I’ve had an Acer before, and love the premium specs on this one. It’s also a great size and build quality. I’d love a place to store a stylus like other models used to have.
