Good:
1. Well worth the $279 I paid. Not worth $429, to me anyway.
2. Greatly adjustable. Raise it. Tilt it. Turn it. I’ve been looking at monitors for a long time.
One of the few 32″ with this much adjustability under $300.
3. Colors are fantastic. Vibrant colors with several presets. White is white. Black is black.
4. Text readability is fantastic.
5. Streaming shows are fantastic!! Gordon Ramsay never looked better.
6. GTA 5 ran great. Game looks sooo much better. Text is so much easier to read compared to old monitor.
7. IMO this monitor would be great for 95% of the gamers. Probably will fall short for the elite players.
Bad:
1. Had a very hard time time getting display to power on. Screen kept telling me no signal. I tried the cable I had been using first. Then I tried the new cable that came with monitor (displayport), still nothing. I finally started moving cables around on the back of the video card (new 3060). There was only one port on card where the monitor would turn on. I feel the monitor should work no matter where its plugged in IMO. Never had this problem before. Also the power light has never came on.
2. The ring that goes on the back and attaches to the monitor… I was never able to get it to attach. I spent a huge amount of time, then I threw it back in the box.
These negatives did not affect the quality, just the time it took to figure it out. So , 5 stars.
I tried this monitor because its brand new here, latest tech. (Risky? Now that I have it, NO!). Plus its a Samsung. Now that I have seen the new monitor against my old one. I want another new one… someday maybe.
Whoever said size doesn’t matter was way off. Must have been a guy, certainly not his wife.

So this monitor screen flickers all the time with white lines but its not consistent and it also powers off from time to time. That’s a real problem when playing a game.
I run dual monitors and when this happens the other monitor does not do this nor did the monitor that this one replaced. So I updated all the drivers to the computer and video cards as well (I’m running duel video cards as well). No change.
So I swapped out the HDMI cables going to the video cards. No change.
I then decided that maybe I need a new HDMI cable, so I order a new cable and replaced it. No change.
So called Samsung and they take all the info and then proceed to tell me that I need to video this thing while it’s doing this and they would send me a text that I needed to use. Now like I said it’s not consistent. So after spending some, no a lot of time trying to do this with no luck. So I just toke a picture of it and tried to use the link they sent me. So I start filling out the info and half way trough this link it keeps freezing up. So here I go again and call them back yet again.
So after holding forever I get to explain this whole process to a new person because they don’t seem to have any notes on this. This new person wants me to hook the monitor to another computer and see if it does the same thing.
Now this whole process takes A LOT of time. Not a few minutes or hours, this process takes WEEKS. So I tell them I’m not doing this. My other monitors have no problems and they are years old with no problems AT ALL.
So now I’m having to send them the monitor back and see if they can fix it while I wait and see what happens. Now remember this thing flickering and powering off isn’t consistent so how knows if they find the problem. My guess they wont and I’ll get the same broken monitor back and I’ll get to have all this fun AGAIN.
I guess the point to all this is if your going to buy a monitor from Amazon I hope you get a good one. Because if you don’t you’ll get to join me in all this fun.

El monitor es muy bueno, cumple con todo lo que especifica, la pantalla es hermosa y la curva no es ningún problema. En mi caso la pantalla no hace ruidos ni tiene defectos visibles todo llego en buen estado aunque la caja grande en la que te envían el monitor venia abierta o mal sellada y no tenia ninguna protección adicional como hule espuma o papel burbuja. Tal vez venía así para pasar fácil las aduanas porque el envío venía de USA a México, el día de la entrega no llegó, tuvo un retraso de 1 día pero finalmente llegó, la recomiendo para cualquier gamer.

This monitor has succeeded my expectations, I was nervous after seeing some of these reviews. But let me tell you. Once you get this monitor you will never be able to go back to a 32inch or less.
I bought this monitor to be my main monitor for streaming/playing games as I wanted that extended view.
First off, I love that Its 165hz. I have the option to go less as well but as my computer can handle this I have it set to the 165hz.
The colors are bright and vibrant. I am using the Freesync and I see absolutely no tearing in games of any kind. Motion blur isn’t a problem either. The screen Brightness is perfect and has night mode for all of us gamers who enjoy being awake when no one else is.
I have this connected to a freestanding stand, I decided not to use the stand it came with as it fits with all my other monitors this way better and I can turn the screen as needed. So I cannot comment on the stand.
The power button is on the very bottom middle and also serves as the joystick to navigate the menu.
Freesync has been working great. Also what I didn’t see in the description is that this monitor does have the option to put a crosshair on the screen, there are a few to choose from and you can move it around to get the perfect spot for your game. You can also adjust the Black level to either be brighter or darker. This affects things like shadows and can make enemies easier to see.
My overall mark of this monitor would be a 10/10. Samsung out did themselves.

So I had my eyes on this for a while the quality of this is insane when I got it but keep in mind this is my first gaming curve monitor it looks great the refresh rate is 165 on my DisplayPort and for someone that is disabled like me that have a hard time picking up stuff this wasn’t too heavy at all I did get this on sale on Amazon spring sale for $200 highly recommend this monitor this is my first curve so it is going to get adjusting to and also this is HDR and there is audio port and if you would like to know I’m using a radon rx 7900 xlx
