No disappointment. Size, appearance lights and sound all wonderful experience makes you want to type. Functionally it works perfectly so far. I was concerned that it may be too compact but it is just as easy to use as the style I am used to.

Really I thought I had no need for this, but I’m an English teacher and a bit of a nerd for retro items so I got it. Now, though, when I’m at my computer grading while my students work they can hear every clack of the keyboard and they know to quietly keep going with their work, as grades are incoming soon.
The look, the feel, and everything about this makes me happy. They keys light up, or not, so you can make it as modern or as old fashioned looking as you like. My one small complaint is that the metal looking lever on the top left is plastic, and does nothing (or at least so far as I found out so far), but the faux paper feeder knows control volume on the computer which is a great touch.
It is harder to type on than a regular computer keyboard, but with a little practice you get used to the difference in size and shape of the keys and it works great.
I do wish it had a Num Pad on the right side as I keep reaching for it to type on and then remembering it isn’t there, like a strange digital phantom limb, but I knew it didn’t have one when I bought it and thought I wouldn’t care, and I don’t mind but it’d be nice have if possible on future models.
I don’t recommend it for people who don’t love the tactile sensation of typing, but if you do love it, as I do, then I think you’ll find it to quickly become your favorite keyboard ever.

I love everything about the keyboard but the little lever that switches the lighting effects. It busted just taking the keyboard out of the box. It is a simple spindle of plastic that adds a nice aesthetic.
Functionally, the keyboard is fine – the lighting options can be cycled by a keyboard combination. I won’t be sending it back because a new one would break just as easily when I put it in my bag.
The rest of the keyboard is solid, the keys are fun and tactile, the color is classy. I like that I can use either BT or USB-C to connect.

Easy to install and a pleasure to use. This is an amazing looking keyboard and it makes typing so much fun. Actually, my typing skills are SO much better on this keyboard vs. the computer one (I use an all-in-one desktop} but will be adding it for my phone too!
Highly recommend this – especially to those of us who learned to type on manual typewriters – you’ll love it!!

Although I prefer keyboards with an extended numerical keyboard, I saw this and fell in love. I love another brand as well, but those keyboards are north of about $200. No bueno.
When this arrived, I was not disappointed with the look. OF COURSE there’s not real wood, but it has the look of wood. Because I’m a touch typist, I appreciate the raised knobs on the f and j keys, which keep me focused. The carriage knob for the sound is perfect, and that surprised me. No more searching the keyboard for the right volume key.
So why don’t I LOVE it the way I wanted?
It’s the backlight. Or, more accurately, the way the backlight refuses to cooperate.
Sometimes I can get it to turn on, but more often than not, it’ll just randomly turn off and not do anything. Or, it’ll turn on. I know my house isn’t haunted, so this is a little weird. Sometimes when it comes on, it’s the racing lights which can be very distracting in a dark room. Ultimately, when I tried to adjust the lights with the “carriage return” during one of the keyboard’s tantrums, it fell off in my hand. Ugh.
I will return it and hope I can get an exchange. I obviously don’t hate it, but sometimes, I just like for something to work. FWIW, I have a PC-oriented gaming keyboard with lots of lights that I use on my Mac Mini, and it works perfectly, whether I want crazy lights or just something soft in the background while I’m concentrating on the task. I wanted this keyboard because it’s Mac-centric and I don’t have to guess at the various control keys. I’ll update with any hiccups or resolution.
UPDATE! I updated to five stars because the replacement keyboard does everything promised. As I noted earlier, I love the clicky-click keys and for some reason, they allow me to type faster. I’m typing this using the keyboard onto my MacBook Air laptop. (I a laptop ever made a keyboard like this, I’d snatch one up immediately!) With this keyboard having the Mac keys clearly marked, it is so much easier to type without having to guess through the corresponding Windows keys. Mac users, take notice!
Of course, the most important part in this situation is that the lights work! While I’m not sure of the rationale behind providing some of the odd patterns, the main thing is that I can now easily type in a room with dimmed lighting.
The return/replace process was dead easy, and now I have the fully functional keyboard. Love it!

When I saw that it was on sale, there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to buy it.
Love it! Love that you can also change the switches. I got the tactile switches, but might end up trying silent switches on it! The clicky is fun though.
Love that it lights up, and the wood base looks so nice.
My only little complaint is that I wish the dials and carriage return level were customizable. I would love for the one on the right to be able to scroll instead of adjust volume. But that’s really a minor gripe.
It seems well made and it’s enjoyable to use. The instructions were badly translated, but there isn’t much to do other than connect it and start typing. Matter of fact, I’m using it now to leave this review.
Since I intend to use it mostly with my iPad Mini (match made in heaven), it’s definitely one of the nicest keyboards I’ve bought for that purpose!
