   L’écran est bien calé dans sa belle boîte, dommage qu’il y ait encore du plastique !

   La première impression est très bonne, l’écran est protégé par un étui magnétique très pratique et qui semble de bonne qualité. Le corps de l’écran est en métal, les différents ports (HDMI de taille normale, USB-C, micro USB) sont bien alignés (ce n’est pas toujours la cas sur certains produits), l’ensemble est bien construit et donne une bonne impression de robustesse. L’emplacement pour le support VESA n’a que 2 trous dans la base plus épaisse que le reste de l’écran.

   L’écran est mat et de très bonne qualité, je n’ai aucun pixel mort.
   Je l’ai comparé avec l’écran 16/10 de 1980×1200 de mon Huawei Matebook D16 (2022) qui est plutôt bon, et bien à ma grande surprise le Uperfect est encore meilleur dans la profondeur des couleurs.
   La luminosité est parfaite (réglée à 50% pour ma part) et le contraste également.

   Je n’ai pas de fuites de lumière du rétro éclairage ce qui témoigne d’une dalle de bonne qualité avec des angles de vision tout à fait conformes à la technologie IPS. Sous Windows, la résolution native de 2560×1600 est parfaitement exploitable à 100%, les textes sont petits mais bien lisibles même avec des lunettes, la surface d’affichage est donc nettement supérieure à mon Matebook.

   L’étui joue bien son rôle pour maintenir l’écran en position mais il est préférable d’utiliser un support de tablette par exemple pour le réhausser.
   L’écran est alimenté par l’unique câble USB-C branché à l’ordinateur et ne semble pas épuiser rapidement la batterie.

   Le seul défaut qui n’a aucune importance à mes yeux et le son qui est disons le, mauvais mais peut suffire pour l’ambiance sonore de Windows, guère plus !
   Celui de mon Matebook sans être excellent est bien meilleur, mais je n’achète pas un écran pour utiliser ses haut-parleurs, surtout sur un écran aussi petit.

   En conclusion, je suis agréablement surpris par la qualité de cet écran, souhaitons qu’il soit durable et que le S.A.V. soit à la hauteur en cas de problème !

   I got this monitor as an upgrade after using a 15.6″ portable monitor at my desk setup for quite some time now and it definitely did not disappoint. Initially, I had thought that it would be much smaller but upon opening the box I was surprised to see just how big it was for a portable monitor. I’ve mainly been using it at my desk setup, but I could see this being a really nice portable monitor for anyone that doesn’t have as much room or is looking to game on the go. The fact that it’s powered by a USB Type C is already a huge benefit compared to standard monitor power cords that are chunky and overly thick but then you also have to remember that it has a 120HZ refresh rate which makes everything 100000x times better. I could see this being the perfect monitor for anyone that travels a lot with their gaming system or computer and would like to upgrade the entire experience. The build quality feels sturdy in hand and its surprisingly light for an entire monitor with a built-in kickstand. Also, this is hands down the best kickstand that I’ve ever used on any device as it doesn’t slide whatsoever and is extremely stable throughout use. It’s also easily adjustable which is extremely nice when trying to move it around at different angles. I usually end up VESA mounting all of my monitors, but I found no need to with this one due to the quality of the stand being so good.

   As for the viewing/user experience, I can’t think of another monitor that looks this good at this price point. Out of the box the colors and resolution were already extremely good looking and then once I turned up the refresh rate and adjusted the contrast slightly it went up another whole level. Sidebar, but the menu was also really nice and easy to control which isn’t usually the case for the many monitors that I’ve used in the past. It even has a switch kind of thing that saves you from pressing the button over and over again to scroll through the menus. I’ve already spent a ton of time watching videos on it and can say that it makes for a pretty good viewing experience. I was worried about it being 1080p and only 21.5″ but I’ve found that to actually be a good thing since it doesn’t take up too much room, has crisp quality, and is extremely clear.

   Overall, I think this is a VERY solid pick up if you’re looking to save space at your setup or use a monitor on the go. After my time of using it I can’t find a single complaint about it and was actually very surprised at how much I’ve been enjoying it. My entire experience has been great from the packaging to easily setting it up, and then using it as a part of the set up. The portability is an obvious benefit for most but the easy plug and play aspect of it is one of my favorite things. No need to fight with a wobbly monitor stand that takes up a ton of space since the kickstand is so easily accessible and if you did want something fancier then the VESA compatibility will give you just that. If you want to start using this screen, then all you’ll need is an HDMI and a USB Type C cable to get it all started and they just so happen to both be included right in the box. This is a quality product with quality features, and I can seriously see myself using this in so many scenarios

   Kurzversion:
   Der portable Monitor erfüllt seinen Dienst gut. Würde ihn wiederkaufen und kann ihn empfehlen (und habe es bereits..).

   Usecase:
   Ich benutze ihn
   – seit ca. einem Monat
   – min. 2-3 Tage/Woche auf der Arbeit beim Kunden in hell erleuchteten Büros
   – meist stundenlang im Dauerbetrieb
   – an einem MacBook Air (M2)
   – über das mitgelieferte Usb-C Kabel
   – mit der mitgelieferten Hülle (mit Standfunktion).

   Positiv:
   – Das Bild ist sehr scharf
   – Die Helligkeit ist absolut ausreichend
   – Die magnetische Hülle mit Ständerfunktion ist praktisch und funktioniert & schützt gut
   – Es gibt eine Vesa-Mount-Möglichkeit
   – Es ist möglich, den Monitor mit nur einem (Usb-C) Kabel zu betreiben
   – Es liegen zwei Usb-C Kabel plus ein Steckdosenadapter und ein HDMI-Kabel bei
   – Das Gewicht ist gering &
   – Das Profil sowie die Displayränder schmal
   – Die Haptik und Bauweise hochwertig
   – Der Preis durch Gutscheincode von ca. 180€ ist absolut gerechtfertigt

   Negativ:
   – Das weiß ist einen kleinen Ticken gelblich (verglichen mit dem Macbook) und ich konnte es auch nicht raus-konfigurieren, kann aber an mir liegen.
   – Die 500Nits in der Beschreibung stimmen nicht. Nach wenigen Minuten Recherche findet man, woher das Gerät stammt, samt Datenblatt und es sind in Wahrheit 400 Nits. Die reichen zwar wie gesagt völlig aus, trotzdem schade.
   – Die Lautsprecher klingen natürlich miserabel. Ich brauche sie nicht, also stört es mich nicht. Ich finde es löblich & erfreulich, dass die Funktion überhaupt vorhanden ist, ich wollte es jedoch trotzdem erwähnt haben.
   – Es gibt einen schmalen Spalt zwischen dem wirklich benutzbaren Display und dem eigentlichen physischen Displayrand. Auch das kann man nicht softwareseitig beheben, auch nicht mit Drittanbieter-Tools.
   – Die Blickwinkel könnten besser sein. Es stört nicht wirklich, besonders, da man den Monitor ja einfach ausrichten kann (wäre auch doof, bei einem “portablen” Monitor..) und auch das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau, aber ich wollte es erwähnt haben.

   Sonstiges:
   – Durch die unebene Rückseite muss man beim Ablegen oder Transport aufpassen, dass das Gerät nicht verbiegt.
   – Der USB-Port ist (wie bei praktisch allen vergleichbaren Geräten leider auch) so verbaut, dass man keine 2 der Monitore direkt nebeneinander stellen/hängen kann, was ich gern gemacht hätte und wegen der echt dünnen Displayränder auch super ausgesehen hätte. Wer jetzt denkt, man könne einfach eines falsch herum aufbauen und in der Software das Bild umdrehen irrt. Das ginge zwar, sieht aber bei Benutzung komisch aus. (Wer wissen möchte warum, kann googlen, warum Apple damals beim iPhone X das Display nicht einfach kopfrum verbaut hat.)
   – Der Akku des Laptops geht natürlich deutlich schneller leer, das sollte jedem klar sein. Der Monitor hat keinen eigenen Akku (was ich gut finde, da ich es nicht brauche und es Gewicht spart).

   Fazit:
   Ich bin absolut zufrieden, würde das Gerät (für die bezahlten ca. 180€) sofort wieder kaufen und kann auch anderen mit ähnlichen Anforderungen eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

   Geweldig beeldscherm. Heb zelf een 16″ Macbook Pro 2021 en een 32″ monitor van LG, beide in een heel andere prijsklasse dan deze draagbare monitor. Echter kan deze monitor in de HDR modus net zo helder zijn als mijn andere beeldschermen, ook als de monitor alleen door de USB-C poort van mijn laptop wordt gevoed.

   De hoes is heel handig en zit magnetisch vast aan het scherm, en kan dus makkelijk worden verwijderd. Het scherm is dun en heeft dunne randen en ziet er goed uit.

   Natuurlijk is het voor deze prijs te mooi om waar te zijn, dus hier zijn de minpunten:
   – Speakers zijn héél slecht (maar tenminste zijn ze er)
   – Beeldscherm maakt een vervelend geruis in de HDR modus (alleen hoorbaar in een muisstille omgeving)
   – De kleuren zijn goed, maar bij lange na niet zo goed en mooi als op mijn Macbook en LG monitor (wat ook te verwachten is)
   – Soms worden de instellingen van de monitor gereset bij het maken of verbreken van de verbinding (heb ik al 2x meegemaakt in 2 maanden), waardoor het bedieningsmenu naar het Chinees teruggaat. Het menu voor omschakelen naar Engels was de eerste keer een hele uitdaging, ook omdat de resolutie van het beeldscherm niet hoog genoeg is om met camera translate de Chinese tekens te fotograferen en vertalen. Inmiddels weet ik uit mijn hoofd waar ik de taal kan instellen.

   Al met al een geweldige monitor, zeker aan te raden als je veel onderweg bent of een flexibele werkplek hebt. Ik adviseer USB 90 graden hoekstukjes aan te schaffen zodat de meegeleverde kabels niet zo uitsteken aan de zijkant.

   This UPERFECT 21.5” 120HZ 1080p Portable Monitor is an incredible addition as a second or third display that compliments any workspace or battle station setup.

   The package includes two USB-C Cables, so you can use one for Displayport functionality, and another to power the monitor with the included 30W USB-C Power Brick. An HDMI Cable is also included.

   The monitor itself is nice and hefty, with a premium metal finish and build quality all around. The kickstand is very sturdy and is rigid to the point where you don’t have to worry about any shaking or knock-overs.

   The monitor is very easy to control, as there’s only one button and a switch. The button changes selected inputs, although the monitor does have an automatic input function. The switch controls all of the settings of the monitor, such as Brightness, Contrast, RGB Adjustments, HDR and Gaming Modes, and many more.

   My one complaint is that the User Manual does not explain the functions of the icons in the settings, which can be confusing for some users, but feel free to play around with the settings to dial in the perfect picture that suits your style.

   Testing this monitor with HDR content, it looks incredible, with very good viewing angles and color saturation. I tested it with both Displayport and HDMI to make sure the color quality was consistent between both formats. The 120Hz mode also makes the picture quality very smooth when used for gaming with supported hardware. 1080p for a monitor of this size is still very much crisp, granted as long as your viewing distance isn’t directly up close.

   Overall, I’m glad I decided to choose this monitor above the other competitors, as UPERFECT makes sure to include full sized HDMI ports instead of Mini-HDMI to ensure all of your existing cables are compatible right out of the box. The display quality is incredible and rivals non-portable solutions that are similarly priced. If you were to pick one of these up for yourself, you would be seriously impressed.

   Was looking for a monitor that would primarily be set up in a teen’s bedroom, but had the option of being portable and moved if needed. Getting as big of a display as possible while taking up as little footprint on the desk was key.

   I was drawn to this monitor because of the built-in stand and VESA mounting options, as well as the size to weight ratio. I speculated because the built in stand could be rotated 180 degrees that the monitor might be suitable for hanging on a wall, or in my case, a pegboard. The VESA mount was a backup plan to use with maybe a clamp style monitor arm,This monitor is very good quality! The 2K resolution is crisp and works well on a screen this size. The screen is also very bright and colorful! Very easy to see everything and great for me while I was working in a location away from my office. The size is great for productivity and getting a good view of what I’m working on. It is a little big, and while I like the size for functionality, it is less portable than others for being so big. It does get others’ attention though! It’s very easy to use over USB C or HDMI.

   I purchased this monitor based on specs and many positive reviews from this brand UPerfect. I was not familiar with this brand.

   I was looking for 2nd portable monitor besides mine MBP13” in case I am on the go. So searched the web for possibilities and many brands and offerings. Eventually decided for somerhing around 15,6 inch next to mine 13” MBP. A size bigger thann13/14 inch. And for portability not the 17inch. Finally I found this specific model which ticks all the boxes for me:

   – 16 inch ( slighty bigger than 15.6 and still portable and light)
   – 2K (sharper than 1080p, 4K to much for 16”, very small text)
   – 16:10 ratio, more vertical screen real estate important voor reading and browsing
   – 500 Nits!!!! (More is better for monitors)
   – really thin bezels at 4 sides and no branding with unknown or fancy logos/names.
   – thickness is superthin! And more important in a fully metal/aluminium housing. So very solid build and sturdy, although the thin bezels and thickness and lightness of this monitor.
   – very handy and easy magnetic protective cover. 2 positions and very easy to use
   – left side: low positioned headphone jack (clever) and 3 buttons for menu, sound and brightness. Easy and a joy to use.
   – right side: micro USB OTG is handy for just in case, 2x USB-C (video/sound/power) and a FULL SIZED HDMI port. Well positioned and easy to use inputs! (Gladly no micro/mini HDMI can use standard cables instead of an extra cable to carry with you)
   – all nessesary cables provided in the box plus small powerbrick

   And finally the most important for me display quality:

   In one word: Amazing!

   This little monitor delivers!
   For this price an really really fantastic portable light and cleverly, quality built monitor.

   Display and image/colour quality is top notch due to factors as:
   – 2K results in sharpness. Really sharp! And aspect ratio 16:10 plus 16inch is precisely the right combination.
   Colours are bright and accurate almost as good as on mine MBP display.
   – 500 nits brightness (at least brighter than many other offerings/brands, only 250/300 nits) and this helps and is really noticable in image quality.
   – surpriseling good contrast and vibrant colours in combination with good blacks and whites.
   – surprised at this pricepoint: no backlight bleeding? How?
   – after adjusting the menu : output is superb and image quality is almost if I am looking at a QLed monitor.

   So I am very surprised that UPerfect can offer this tiny light metal housed and cleverly designed monitor with superb image quality for this price!

   This monitor ticks soo all the boxes for me that I ordered a second one. For just in case (spare?) and maybe a three monitor setup!
