Switches are good for repeatable clicks, but bad at shooters because mushiness.
Cable is fine if you’re playing MOBAS ( got d1 in LoL with it), but can get in the way at shooters even bungies don’t help, if that’s the case consider wireless, although tracking was butter smooth at 4khz.
8khz is dysfunctional but 4khz isn’t which is great!
A really great mouse, but shape is too big for my hands it fatigues me. I bought it just to try the 8k at a cheap price. I wish Razer has the tiny affordable mice with the same sensor and better switches.

The mouse was great, super light, super precise and I was truly happy with it, until I’ve started playing Helldivers about 15 days ago.
Since that game requires the constant use of the zoom/switch mechanic for the weapon, that is triggered by the middle wheel mouse button. The wheel mouse button started failing.
Just 15 days of constant use of the mouse wheel button was all that was necessary to make it fail.
Now every time I press that button, I can see the button is oscilating between click and unclick, if you do not press the button hard enough, the output will be pure jittery of clicks and unclicks.
Now I can not even “open new web windows” with that middle mouse button because sometimes it cancels the action because of that unstable contact.
I went to Razer, explaining this and even sent them a video. They requested that I ship the mouse. Since I live in Panama and I cannot ship products for RMA I requested any other means from them. Last time something like this happened with Corsair, they kindly ask me to destroy the device and send proof, after that they sent me the replacement without issues. Razer, replied with all that BS nice words saying they “refuse” to execute an RMA if I can’t send the mouse, even if I can’t actually send it because sending products over is pretty expensive.
So they abide by their policy of not replacing products if they cannot be dispatched and I abide by my policy of telling everything how much they suck. Obviously I will never buy another Razer product ever again as that will mean that I have no way of reclaiming an RMA if it breaks.
You are being warned, if you live in a country that does not allow you to dispatch products overseas, it’s basically like you don’t have ANY guarantee from them. You bought a product and pray that it works for as long as it can.
Also, after reading the forums, reddit and searching through youtube.. this faulty middle mouse button is not something new, Razer is having this issue since years now, and it seems they simply don’t care to fix it. Obviously the microswitch they’ve put on the middle mouse button is not optical like the rest. For such a “high quality mouse” this decision is less than stellar.

This is my 7th mouse I bought from amazon this month! My search stops here. It doesn’t look like much, but wow! fit’s in palm perfectly, buttons are where they should be, smoking fast reactions on mousepad! Better than mouse’s (or mice?, lol) much more fancier and expensive. Go for high quality action and feel. Highly Recommended!

I almost gave up on this mouse, but all I had to do was change USB ports. With that being said its a great mouse, just make sure to change the feet if you’re interested in playing shooters where you need more control or speed!

This mouse is awesome!
I have owned Deathadder v2 for years and decided to upgrade to Deathadder v3 when I saw it release.
It is much lighter, the shape is much more comfortable, and it is smoother.
After using it for some time, I just can’t go back to the v2. It feels uncomfortable.
CONS:
But of course, nothing is perfect.
This mouse is manufactured both in China and Thailand. (You can check the bottom of the mouse to see where it was manufactured.)
I tried 3 copies of this mouse. 2 from Thailand and 1 from China and there are some differences when it comes to quality.
The Chinese ones had a loud scroll wheel that would bother me.
Both of the Thailand produced mice had a silent/quiet scroll wheel.
But the Thailand produced ones didn’t come without problems either.
The first Thailand mouse had bad cable stitching, since there were places where the strings from the cable would be coming out. The second one has some cable defect that makes it so the portion of the cable that enters the mouse is lifted at all times. Bending it back in place isn’t possible.
It’s either I am unlucky or there are some quality control issues.
If you get a decent one without issues, it’s worth keeping and using!

Simple, functional, lightweight, and no RGB. Do make sure not to set the polling rate above something like 2000 in their software though or whenever you move the mouse your computer will hiccup like mad. Not sure if it was worth the 70 bucks, but I can’t deny it’s the nicest mouse I’ve ever owned.

too bulky and wierd

The Deathadder V3 is nothing like the V2. The click on the V3 is firm and solid feeling unlike the V2 which was squishier and understated. V3 might be a touch louder than V2 but it is fairly quiet. Some may find the V3 click action less satisfying but it registers input clearly from a tactile perspective and feels responsive. The right handed shape fits my larger hand comfortably with just about any grip and the hand feel while using the V3 is just more natural compared to the V2. The feet glide very smoothly (uses virgin grade PTFE). The cable is less floppy than previous generations (but it is smooth) and the lack of RGB on my model makes the mouse look basic. The Razer software is outstanding. It is hard to go wrong with the Deathadder V3 as a solid overall performer. If you do not care about flashiness or wireless capabilities, this mouse is a very lightweight and premium feeling and performing option that should suit anyone looking for a nice gaming/productivity mouse. Well done, Razer.

I bought this Razer DeathAdder to replace my previous Razer Viper which finally wore out after years of abuse. I love the DeathAdder’s straight-forward design, uncomplicated by a surfeit of buttons and unnecessary features. I was looking for a minimalist but high-quality, highly accurate mouse. (Sorry, but I’m not into gaming). This model is just pure Razer responsiveness and functionality using the latest hardware optical sensor and switch technology. It’s a wired mouse that never needs new batteries or recharging. I like the absence of a glowing green logo on this model — it’s a more serious look that is compatible with business settings. Compared with competing mice from Microsoft and LogiTech, the Razer mouse’s design is more focused on functionality and durability, and a better value.
Razer has optional driver software for gamers. I recommend keeping things simple: ignorethe optional driver and use WIndows’ built-in mouse driver — it works great with this mouse.

I struggled to find a large gaming mouse that was also light until I came across this one. It feels very ergonomic and uses high quality materials; it doesn’t creak when you squeeze it and the material feels very smooth. If you are looking for a high end, large, and light gaming mouse, this is the only choice for you.
