The keyboard package was fixed with an adhesive tape, the keyboard itself was dirty and had numerous fingerprints on it, and it didn’t even connect due to its USB-C port being broken. An utter disappointment.

Before anything, this keyboard is a great keyboard which will probably work for most people. It’s nice to type on, and the sound it makes is fantastic.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for the purpose I bought it for, because I am using it in the office and I need to use it with a KVM, because there’s more than one computer I need to access.
My KVM needs a “Scroll Lock” to switch, and there is no way to press this key on the keyboard! I cannot easily swap between computers! Instead of this, I get a useless “Lock” key and a “Siri” key. I can do a lock with a keyboard shortcut, and I never used that key. It’s a useless key for me.
So sadly, I can’t use this for the purpose I bought it for. I’m using it at home, and it’s good, but it’s not what I got it for.

I bought this keyboard to use with my MacBook and and very happy that I did. It works flawlessly and the feeling of typing is perfect for what I was after, I liked the look of this retro color version of the Keychron C1 and C2 but I opted for the C2 because I wanted a full size keyboard. It is non-backlit which I don’t mind but I know isn’t for everybody. This keyboard is well constructed and sturdy, it’s wired so I never have to worry about charging it, and it being non-backlight means it won’t drain my laptop battery too much or too quickly to use it. It’s simple but feels great and looks cool in my opinion, I’m very happy with this purchase. This is my first Keychron keyboard and so far I am a fan of their products. I would recommend this to anybody that just wants a nice typing experience with no frills. I chose the Keychron Red switches and I am happy with them, not too clicks or too loud, but just right.

Nice typing experience, no hassle plug and play with usb c and usb a options, ideal for the office.
Product was posted in original box like if you purchased it from a store, without an outer postage box so this could tempt someone to steal it if delivered to your front door unattended.

This keyboard is as smooth as butter! Much better than the cheap keyboard that came with my new computer. I like the clean vintage look. However, if you are going for a silent keyboard this is not the one for you, but I don’t mind the traditional clickity-clack.

When I first got the Keychron C2, I was impressed. It’s a heavy, well-built keyboard that feels like quality. The included braided USB cable is a nice touch, and the retro look with old-school clicky keys had me hooked.
Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. From day one, the keyboard wouldn’t power on with my PC—I had to unplug and replug it every time I turned my computer back on for it to be recognized. Now, after several months of careful use (stored in a covered drawer when not in use), the keys are starting to break off.
I wanted to love this keyboard, but between the power issue and durability concerns, I can’t recommend it.

I bought this keyboard because I do a lot of typing and the flat keys that come with all computers today drive me crazy because I learned to type on a typewriter.
This keyboard was good for a Mac, inexpensive, and seems to fit the bill. I love the feel of the keys and the sound. My only main criticism is that it’s not backlit at all so if you’re typing in a darker room, it’s a challenge. My other questionable criticism is that the cursor sometimes jumps around. I am not certain whether or not that is the keyboard or the formatting software that I am typing it into. I will come back when I have used it for a while to speak to the question of durability. Overall, I am very pleased with this item.

Pros:
1. Full size layout with number pad
2. Stiff, comes with both mac and windows key layouts (would be nice to have a linux specific option)
3. The switches require a good amount of force to actuate and create a better typing feel than the flat chicklet style keys that are standard with modern macs.
4. Comes with a good quality usb-c cable with adapter.
5. Unlike some mechanical keyboards it doesn’t have industrial design to make it look like transformer vomit. No stupid RGB.
6. I know this is sold as a “retro design”, but I would really just see it as an “understated” design. it isn’t trying too hard to look exactly like a model M, or something it isn’t. I could see this sitting on my desk at work for a few years without annoying me too much, and just letting me type.
Cons:
1. No scroll lock key appears to be non-standard.
2. Likewise, no indicator light for scroll lock. I realize that scroll lock is rarely used, and even antiquated, but when you need it, you need it.
3. The key switches are a quieter kind. While this is nice for an office environment where you don’t want people to be irritated by your typing sounds, it doesn’t have the same satisyfying “click” that some keyboards have. This is subjective, and some may prefer this key feel

I just can’t deal with the iMac wireless flat keyboard thingies they call a keyboard. This keyboard is just your basic “click” keyboard and it works flawlessly. I’m old as dirt and I just have to have a click keyboard. Now, if you are using this on a Mac (which I am) you gotta get used to which keys map to which keys on the Mac keyboard for the special functions, but its not that big of a deal. I HATE Windows (but ironically am a MCSE – another life), but I use this on my Windows box too, which I only run because I ArcGIS won’t run on a Mac. Use one on my Linux box as well. It works flawlessly across all platforms. Can’t ask for more. I have been using this keyboard for literally years with zero issues. It is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. It is NOT a cheap feeling keyboard. I’m kinda hung up on full size too. Guess different folks have different ideas of what is a great keyboard. If you are looking for a quality, clicky, full size keyboard this one is great. Just be aware it is wired, and you gotta get used to where things map on a Mac.

Absolutely LOVE this keyboard. It plugs and plays perfectly with no lag. The keys are responsive and have the perfect classic “clack”. I adore the retro color palette and the price was perfect. Came with a USBc to USBc plug with a USB converter option which was a nice perk.

This is a great entry level mechanical keyboard

The keychron brown mechanical switches seem lighter than MX browns. Build quality is better than expected, with nice included items – windows/mac alternate keycaps and puller, USB-C cable with USB-A adapter. Feet are adjustable to three angles. Rubber pads keep it from sliding around. Multi-media functions work well.
For those of us used to typing on heavier keys, the keycaps can bottom out with a quite audible clack.
Overall, a decent keyboard for a very good price.
