Devilish to set up, but it’s not the machine, it was me. I’ve been “out-of-the-box” for too long. The software you add, or move will take a long time.

I was looking for a desktop. Great price. It was easy to set up. Everything was included. I bought my own monitor. It worked great with my monitor. Just what I needed.

This my second HP and it was easy to setup and transfer my programs to. Great speed and plenty of memory. I am disappointed that I have Microsoft office on my old PC and this one doesn’t. I don’t plan on paying for it a 3rd time. The other thing I don’t understand is why it comes with a keyboard and mouse that aren’t wireless.
So now I have an error code. That I need a recovery tool because of a fatal error. Trying to get to tech support with amazon is of course a nightmare. IT should be a separate number if they are going to offer it. I will update with a resolution of either it being fixed or returned. In the process of all this I have found this is a misleading photo of the actual PC. Is shows an operable CD drive there is not one. I did read what the description I didn’t catch the fact that it was not listed. There is even a none functional slot. False advertising? I may end up returning this PC I am not it the least happy. Also after spending 2 hrs with HP tech support I have still gotten the error message. I have decided to return it.

We had to purchase a new HP computer because our older HP computer installed September 2015 was running so slow. The older computer was running Windows 10 and the newer HP is running Windows 11. Longest wait time was downloading pictures. Eliminated McAfee in order to transfer all Norton programs and purchased Microsoft 365 word. The new computer does not come with Microsoft word. ( one time purchase). Transferred all desk top icons. We are using the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse and an older 23 inch monitor. Total transfer time was about 3 hours. If you have the patience, this HP may fulfill your requirements.

I am a medium user. This computer replaced an older computer that was running slow and which did not support Windows 11. The new computer is much faster — most responses are instantaneous. Only complaints are that I did not love the keyboard and mouse. I continued to use the old ones I had. Also be advised that the computer does not come with a disk drive.
