Great logitech product quality wise. As someone who’s been working on a computer for over a decade now, I figured I’d try to get into the ergonomic lifestyle but I just can’t get used to this. I gave it a shot for a week where I solely used it instead of my regular mouse and my hand would just feel strained.
Maybe my adaptation period was too short but regardless, for me a regular mouse with high sensitivity (so I don’t have to move much) seems to feel better for the hand/wrist.
I think if I were less of a power user it would be perfect. For example someone who just goes on the computer to do some light to mild browsing and reading, they could benefit from this. I just do so much across my screen that I am constantly moving.

I’ve used these track balls for years and really like them. I’ll never go back to a mouse.

Comfortable and easy to use and set up.

It’s a good mouse. Has worked just as well as expected. Buttons work well, and it’s comfortable for smaller hands.

This is my first trackball mouse and I have to say I am in love. It’s easy to use, quiet and can be used with Bluetooth, the design is genius. I love Logitech products in general . As someone who works on computers for 8+ hours a day it’s important that my gadgets are comfortable as well as efficient. This little thing brought the spark back to my workday 😊
My only dislike is that there isn’t a DPI button on the mouse for the cursor to move faster and you can only calibrate it on a PC.

Very nice!
Aucune difficulté à utiliser, j’avais peur que j’y arriverais pas avec mon tunnel carpien mais c’est hyper confortable il y a que le pouce qui a besoin de mouvement.

Works great!! Just what was needed to reduce the amount space needed to use a mouse. Functionality between two different computers is great. Easily switch between the two when needed. Connectivity is easy with the two separate options. Size of the mouse is just right, comfortable and the quality of the mouse is great. Battery life so far is good, although I haven’t had it long enough to determine its length.

Absolutely working a treat! I’ve been using a trackpad for so long, then a regular mouse when I’m at school that I forgot how much more ergonomic and intuitive a trackball is. I love that I’m not constantly resetting the mouse to home – the stability of the base is perfect. No issues and it is making my Photoshopping, Illustrating and Designing for graphics design so much less tedious and onerous a task.

edit: I liked using the trackball so much I upgraded to the logi MX ergo and use the M575S for my laptop. I stand by everything I said here – but the MX feels better in nearly every way… clickier buttons, nicer plastic, smoother rolling, metal stand (except feeling a bit smaller in the palm and needing a pen to pop out the ball) however – it is twice the price, of course, but I would consider it.
Build quality is great – good enough weight to stay put. Plastic feels nice, slightly grippy and semi-matte (not that shiny cheap black plastic you find on many mice). Buttons and wheel feel nice, but the buttons are on the softer, quieter side in terms of clicking (totally functional, just to know if you prefer a thick click). The ball is fairly heavy and rolls nicely. I am surprised how precise and fast it can be – so much so it takes some getting used to in addition to being a new way of moving a mouse for me. Still, it’s definitely usable for most tasks while in the learning process. It’s nice not having to change mouse sensitivity, instead doing it intuitively with the ball.
The only issue is logitech’s software. The mouse runs perfectly fine without it, but if you want the extra options just be aware that logi control is poorly maintained software that has an installation issue, apparently worse on macs, and I’m still jumping through hoops getting it to work on pc. For some it just installs fine, for whatever reason. To be honest that’s kind of expected with hardware apps these days.

This silent version mouse is a game changer for those who don’t have much space during trips, like on flights, in cafes, or on narrow tables.

I love Logitech Trackballs. Been using one since the 80’s when I first discovered how much I hate a regular mouse and how they affect my wrist. This only comes in a right handed version however, I have used my old one left handed before. Just use my left pinky and ring finger for the ball and left index finger on the buttons. OK, I am ambidextrous so there is that.
I absolutely LOVED the M570 but they are no longer made and getting much harder to find in new condition. The scroll button and left click button on my old one is going out on me so it was time to find something similar.
While this trackball, M575S, has a nice ‘feel’ to it, the buttons are ‘soft touch’ and have no sound to them. It makes it difficult to be able to tell when I have clicked and even causes me to click twice when I don’t mean too as there is almost no resistance to the buttons.
And while the unifying device does work on my Win7 (don’t say it) machine in that it recognizes the trackball so I can use it, however, the software will not install on Win7 so I can not make any changes to the settings.
I’m most likely going to hunt down an OEM M570 for my desktop and use this M575S on my Win10 laptop.
They do come in a nice choice of colors though.

I purchased this mouse as a gift for my girl to make her life easier at her job. She works on her computer.
I’ve used this brand and style before for computer games and really enjoyed it. A much better gaming mouse than a traditional mouse in my experience.
Ana has arthritis in her hands . This mouse is much more ergonomic and her pain has gone down compared to using the old style.
She has had a slight learning curve but now that she uses it daily she said she loves using it.
Her wrist, hand , finger pain and swelling has gone way down.
Set up is a breeze and the quality is very good.
Battery life is long and this is easy to pack up and transport also.
Being able to click and drag , scroll while not having to move your hand and wrist while using the orbital ball is more productive for work tasks while requiring less physical effort at the same time. It makes her job easier while also helping to manage her pain levels down.
The money is well spent on this mouse for work or home.
Treat yourself and you won’t regret it.
