Top notch gaming mouse for its price. Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews on Amazon and some popular YouTubers. They have large hands but for people with less than 20 cm hands, this is a super comfortable mouse even though its kind of weird shape compared to other mice out there. And people who like Logitech g305 may not like it, just like how I don’t like the g305. Both are considered egg shaped but they are quite different since katar pro XT narrows at the rear which is amazing and g305 flares out which is good for large hands. Also at this price this mouse is built solid while staying fairly light and sensor is top notch and feels better than the gpw which I also own. Also the shape is quite good for gripping and can be used to pull down on the recoil for firing in games like csgo. I performed awesome in games straight out of the box without getting used to it as long as you set the dpi correct.
I also owned the wireless version which is the same shape and similar weight but sensor is a step down like a pmw3325. So it’s not bad but ended up returning it. It seems like this mouse was built for fps shooters for a budget while maintaining most of the qualities of a good mouse.

I planned to use this for office-use. Only reason I ended up returning it is because the OS I’m using isn’t compatible, rendering the mouse useless (it turns on but doesn’t function).
Otherwise, great mouse with great placement for the RGB (also not excessive). With the software, it becomes an easily-visible indicator for your DPI switching. Accuracy of mouse is great (theoretically)–equipped with PMW3391 (I believe it’s a modified PMW3389), it is either close to or better than the old-time PMW3360. In real-life testing, it was accurate for my purposes. Didn’t test LOD or any other gamer-centric elements.
Shape resembles Logitech G Pro wired (or G102/G203/G304/G305) but there’s a steeper “hump” on the back–not as comfortable for my small-ish hands vs. the G305 variants. Decently-sized with a good finish that is pretty comfortable for me (I prefer rough-surface). The button switches I personally think is a bit on the lighter side, as it felt quite effortless to click (this might be a +/- to someone). Side-buttons are even more so. Nevertheless not a big detriment. Glide is sufficient but I’m not that great at discerning this aspect of a mouse.
The cable cord was quite heavy but this was a non-issue for me. The USB-connection however, true to Corsair’s fashion, has a big housing which in my opinion should be minimized to allow greater compatibility.

Good build quality. Nice sleeved cable. Very lightweight mouse for its size. Great value for the price. Can’t speak to the longevity yet, but I’ve had good experiences with Corsair hardware in the past.
I don’t need my mouse to do a whole lot of hoopla, I just need it to do simple mouse things. I’m moving to this mouse after using a Razer Abyssus for over 7 years straight, mostly because of the price, similar dimensions, and similar weight. Very good drop in replacement, it feels almost exactly the same. I prefer the shape of the abyssus slightly for the palm bump, it’s all the way back towards the palm on the Abyssus whereas this mouse has it located near the center. Not a deal-breaker at all, just really the only thing I like less about this mouse vs. the abyssus, and that’s just personal taste.
Corsair’s iCUE software is very well put together compared to other lighting software I’ve seen. It was also very easy for me to just set the light to a static color (or off entirely) and leave it, but there are some very programmable options in there if you’re into that sort of thing. If you have other Corsair (or possibly other compatible brands?) products with RGB, you should be able to sync it all there.

This was my first “gamer” mouse. Its really light in compare to your every day office mouse or well not “gamer” mouses. I love the lowkey RGB at the mouse wheel. iCUE (the software in which you can set up RGB and syncing with other Corsair devices for RGB modes, etc.) its an overall 8/10 it can be bothersome but most of the time you will forget it even exists.
Setting different DPI settings and switching them with a button is extremely powerful and also de side buttons made my experience overall when gaming and using my pc. I do recommend side buttons if you havent tried them before.
The ONLY thing I got to complain is the fact that after a while. 2 years tops the mouse wheel is squeaky. ITs horrible, if you scroll down its going to squeak like a mf. Also It has started jumping a bit (scrolling up and down) because of presence of maybe dust (that might actually be my environment but still). The longevity of the scroll wheel might be an issue for everyone.
I am rating it 4/5 because for a starter gamer mouse it gives you all the perks and solid RGB and DPI settings and actually being lightweight. Powerful mouse but I really hate and worry about that squeaky mouse wheel everyday…

This mouse is really amazing, it’s replacing my razor death adder. I bought this one because the old mouse I had randomly broke and the scroll wheel stopped working properly. On this mouse the scrolling is pretty good but a little rough(I don’t mind that) that might be bad for some gamers that don’t like a bumpy scroll wheel but for me it’s perfect. It’s got three dpi settings, slow, normal, and fast, and they also are color coded. This mouse is really comfortable in my hand despite how small it is in comparison to other mice I’ve owned in the past. Honestly this is a 9/10 mouse, and the only reason I’m knocking off a point is because I prefer my mice to be a little heavier, this one is super light.
