Keyboard itself has very good build quality. Hefty weight, so it won’t slide on your desk. Keys sit high, so you will need a wrist rest whether you like it or not. Keyboard arrives in a very good protective packaging that also looks very nice. All tools and cables are included. Just plug in the keyboard to your computer and you are good to go.
My keyboard came already setup for Mac, which was perfect for me. A small bag of Windows key caps is included and it’s very easy to switch them if that’s what you’ll be using.
I’ve been typing on chiclet style keyboards for close to 10 years now. I used to work directly on laptops most of the time and I found an easier transition between desktop and laptop when using those kinds of keyboards. These days I use desktop 95% of the time. Since my much earlier days of computing involved the original IBM keyboard, I decided to get back to keyboards of similar style. After reading and watching a few videos about all the different switches, I settled on the brown switch (yes, this is my first mechanical keyboard).
The typing experience is very pleasant. In these early days I find the key travel to be a bit much, compared to the keyboards I used to use, which makes sense, but don’t think this issue will become a problem down the road. I thought there would be more resistance from the brown switch as I press on a key. I even thought I had received a red switch keyboard by mistake. I don’t want to know how mushy and soft the red switch must be!
The sound is just magnificent. Every key press feels very nice and sounds very nice. The only exception is the spacebar. UGH!!! sounds horrible horrible horrible. I’ve ordered some foam to see if that makes it better, but every time I press on the spacebar is like someone is piercing my ears with an ice pick. It’s that bad. Rest of the keys, including shift, enter, tab, etc. sound fantastic.
Knob looks really cool but haven’t found a good use for it yet. It’s configured by default to change the speaker volume and to mute/unmute sound when pressed, but the F10 to F12 keys right next to the knob already do the same thing and it’s faster to reach to those keys than to the knob.
If I were to purchase a keyboard like this again, I may look a bit closer at their low profile lineup or another model that offer key caps with a wider top area which likely go easier on your finger tips.

I love this keyboard. It’s silky smooth, the key travel is just right, and the overall feel is just plain solid. The frame is really heavy, which just adds to the overall feel. It’s probably going to be my go-to keyboard for a very long time.
Including the keycaps for both Mac and Windows is a really nice touch. With all of the available configurability you should be able to setup for just about anything you want.
I’m not a fan of the multicolor lighting effects, but they can be easily disabled using the online configuration utility.
Overall this is a great keyboard and highly recommended.

If you’re obsessive about researching your computer gear like I am you’ll likely have come across the term “budget” when researching this board. This is a budget board when compared to boards two or three times it’s cost.
This keyboard is great and is miles ahead of the Corsair K70 it is replacing. I have the red switches and the keys feel and sound great. Most importantly they are fairly quiet. I love the macro feature. The keyboard is fully programmable so I programed the shape keys to be my macros. The macros are saved onto the keyboard itself so you can even unplug the keyboard and move it onto your work computer. The software is great and is much easier to use compared to Logitech’s.
Just two minor complaints. The keycaps are not shine through. If they are they are barely shine through. In the dark you’ll be able to see the outline of the keys but not the letters. The knob is a great feature but it is a little awkward to manipulate. There isn’t much room between the knob and the keys to fit your fingers.

5 stars across the board no pun intended.
Typing on this thing is so smooth. The build quality is excellent. The cable comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Has a metal volume knob built in that you can remap. The keycaps are very easy to remove and the switches can be removed too. Comes with all the tools you would need.
Keychron knocked it out of the park with their software too. You don’t need to download more bloatware onto your PC, you can just go directly to a website and effortlessly remap keys, change RGB settings, do firmware updates, etc.
Of everyone I know that bought a Keychron, I’m the first and only one who initially got one that had an issue. Unfortunately, one of the keys didn’t work. It was easy to return on Amazon, and the replacement works as intended.

The Keychron V6 Wired Custom Mechanical Keyboard has exceeded my expectations! It came exactly as advertised, and the build quality is outstanding—it’s solid, well-built, and has a surprising heft to it. The keys sound great right out of the box, are hot-swappable, and the RGB backlighting offers plenty of customization options to match any setup. The volume knob is an excellent touch and super convenient for quick adjustments.
One tip: I’d recommend testing out the different key switch options before purchasing to find your ideal feel and sound. My only minor complaint is that the stock keycaps aren’t shine-through, so the RGB doesn’t shine as brightly through the legends.
Overall, this is a fantastic keyboard, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and customizable mechanical keyboard!

Me encanta este teclado. Sus switches son muy fluidos y suaves. El sonido que hace es muy relajante. Tiene varias configuraciones y la perilla es útil para algunos macros específicos.

I bough this keyboard for gaming and video editing. So far I really like the way the switches feel and the key caps look pretty nice. The Knob is at an awkward position but other than that I have no complaints. If Keychron ever makes a keyboard with the num pad on the left instead of the right I’ll prolly get that one as a replacement for this.
