This keyboard was pretty good, decent RGB lighting, comfortable typing and the keys can be quiet depending on how fast I type. It connects in multiple ways, Bluetooth, wired, or wireless, and the manual is very helpful when replacing keycaps and switches.
The keyboard battery lasts pretty long for about a week and a couple of days for me, but when it’s low battery, the RGB lighting shuts off, and it’s hard to see any keys while typing due to its layout.
The software is also great, coming packed with a lot of RGB lighting features and effects, key customization, and macros.

I swear the world’s best keyboard is this one. Originally I got the aula f99 but I couldn’t with the layout. I went from full size to that f99 and it just wasn’t enough and I kept slipping up. I type for work all day long so I go on muscle memory.
Then I found this one it’s PERFECT. The BEST keyboard on the market and it sounds sooooo creamy.

So at this point I think almost everyone has heard of the Aula F75 if you watch any social media and as I have used that board in the past I jumped at the chance to check out the full size Epomaker Aula F108 with big zero key on the 10-key!
As expected the sound is phenomenal. Yes I know some will say it’s easier to make a plastic case sound good then an AL one but as I’m sure most of you are aware there are a lot of terrible sounding keyboards out there. If you love to hear a nice creamy pop bottom out sound this definitely has that… to me it’s music to my ears.
If you haven’t used the Greywood V3 switches before then you are in for a treat with those as well. Every switch on the board was very smooth with stellar factory lube. The board comes with plate mounted stabilizers that are also well lubed from the factory. Basically all you need to do is take this keyboard out, plug it in and you are good to go!
After it’s charged a bit from begin plugged it the F108 also offers BT or 2.4GHz wireless connections as well. I tested the 2.4GHz on my gaming PC and it performed excellent then had no issue with the BT while connected to my Macbook. I was able to use the board for a full week on 2.4Ghz with the lights on med and what would consider normal usage.
On my reviews, especially keyboard reviews, I always try to note things that could be better. Yes this is a full plastic build so if you are dead set on an AL board, this isn’t it. If you want to remap your keys using VIA, this does have dedicated software. While I could care less what a board is made of as long as it types great and sounds good, I will often knock off a star for not being VIA compatible. However it’s a full size keyboard, personally I’m not sure what you would want to remap on it as you have every key already on the board, no real need for a myriad of layers like you would with a 60 or 65% board. If you do want to customize the layout though the software, yes it’s an additional program, but it works well and unlike some of the “gaming” software, you only need to run it when you wan to use it. So no zonk on this one for the software.
I have the black with the front shine through legends which like all front shine through legends could use a little more light on the larger keys. If that bothers you, get the other version, to me I think the black with the gradient keys looks fantastic.
I love this board, I noted couple of things that could bother a few people but I don’t have a single complaint personally. If need a full size board, I would buy this one. It works great, sounds great, types great and is a truly full size layout so you get the larger zero key.

The 2.4G transmitter/receiver is glitchy with any USB port that is not 2.0. When if the cable is plugged in while it uses either BT or 2.4G mode, the keyboard becomes buggy, some keys are stuck while some repeat themselves

Overall, I love the layout—it’s probably my favorite! However, I do wish there were more color options, particularly pastel neutrals. It would be great to have a wider selection to choose from.
As for the sound, I prefer a thockier, creamier, and heavier pressure sound when typing. My number one choice is the Ice Veins switch, followed by Reaper, which has a “horse trotting” sound. I’m not a huge fan of the Graywood V3 switch, as it feels lighter and has a mix of creamy/clacky. Overall, it’s a solid keyboard, but a bit more variety would make it perfect!

I already have a working keyboard without any problems but decided to give the EPOMAKER keyboard a try since it showed up under my product recommendations and it is not a cheap one. Currently it is listed at CAD$149.00 + taxes, which is a lot for a keyboard. There should be something special about this keyboard since it is pretty expensive right? Yep that’s what I thought when I saw the price tag. Let’s dive into it shall we?
Packaging and protection:
I have to say this keyboard came well packaged in a beautifully designed box with nice graphics. When I lifted it, the weight was pretty obvious. Keyboards are made of plastic and do not need heavy metals to make them strong. I am not going to throw it around, right? Then why is it so heavy? Not very sure but yeah it is pretty heavy. I am pretty sure this keyboard will not get damaged even if someone steps on it (a little over-expectation, but please don’t try it). Anyway the graphics, packaging etc. are really nice, except the overwhelming weight – 5 Stars
Extra keys + tool provided:
Honestly, I am not very sure why the additional hardware is provided with the keyboard. Should I expect the keys to break or something? Or maybe it is made for hard-core gamers. Anyway I don’t play many games on PC, but rely heavily on my PS5 for all my gaming needs. So not a very useful thing if you ask me to have extra keys + tools. There might be people who find good use of it, so it nice that they provided the spares – 5 Stars
Connection to computer (Works with KVM switch):
This keyboard can be connected to the computer using 3 methods. There is a small switch at the upper left corner below Esc key which can be used to switch between different connection modes.
(1) 2.4G – The keyboard comes with a USB receiver neatly tucked into the upper left corner (just below the Esc key) and it was easy to find it. Just by pulling slightly, it comes off. Connection to the computer is as easy as plug and play. My computer connected to the keyboard in under a few seconds. It just does its thing and you can start using the keyboard right away. I am using the same keyboard/mouse for two PCs using a KVM switch and plugged in the USB receiver into its USB slot and started working right away. It works on both the PCs without any issues.
(2) Bluetooth – I did not try this method since the USB receiver works perfectly fine.
(3) Wired – Just move the switch to ‘wired’ and connect the provided USB cable. That’s pretty much it. I am using the cable only for charging since the 2.4G works perfectly fine.
Everything works as intended and giving a 5-Star for this
Lighting and key display:
The lighting on this keyboard is beautiful. Lighting is below the keys and there seems to be a light under each key. One I got has cool white lighting and looks nice. One weird thing is that the letters on keys are on their front rather than top. This is something that took me some time to get adjusted to but now it’s fine. It felt a little weird at first. 5-Stars
Only downsides: The only downsides for this keyboard are these
1. For some reason, the letters are on the front of the keys. Not sure why this was designed like this but works. Was a little weird at first, but I got used to it.
2. Pretty heavy keyboard. Maybe the weight is intended for gamers where the keyboard will get heavy thrashing, while playing games, which in my opinion is a clever design choice. But for people like me, who consider keyboards as a way to communicate with the computer rather than something to kick around, this much weight is unnecessary.
3. Loud and obvious clicks. When I am typing something on this keyboard it makes a lot of clicking noise, making it very obvious and distracting for people. It will be impossible for someone to work near me when I am using this keyboard as it makes a lot of clicking sound while using. Luckily, me and my wife work in separate rooms, so it’s fine. Otherwise, nope.
Overall, nice keyboard except the loud clicking noise and weight.

After a couple of years of diving into the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole, I’ve officially entered what I call my “Epomaker Era” and the Aula F108 Pro is my latest crown jewel. I’ve already been enamored with the Aula75 and Aula99 (yes the TikTok hype is real), but this is my very first full-size 108 keyboard from Epomaker. Let me tell you, it’s a game changer.
Yes, it’s larger than what I am used to, but every bit of that extra real estate earns its keep. Full media controls, a calculator key, and a dedicated volume rocker? ::Chef’s kiss::. No More memorizing tricky FN combos just to mute a call or adjust audio during meetings.
The typing experience is buttery smooth and surprisingly wrist-friendly, even without a full-length wrist rest. I’ve customized the keyboard with pink keycaps replacing the gray gradient keycaps it came with. It just pairs beautifully with my desk aesthetic and really brings out the black and pink vibe I was going for.
Sound and feel? Let’s talk Graywood switches. I’ve been loyal to Epomaker’s Leobog Reaper switches, but wow, Graywood V2 switches hit different. They’re the perfect mix of clacky and creamy, leaning into that ASMR vibe without being overbearing or too quiet. It actually makes me want to type more, and I swear, it’s bumped up on my daily productivity.
Minor heads-up; the manual could use a small tweak for clarification. FN + B doesn’t check the battery level while you’re plugged in wired mode. I believe this checks the battery while in wireless connectivity, which ultimately serves its purpose, however, it’s not unusual to check if the keyboard is fully charged while plugged in. Figuring out how to adjust the RGB light bar took a little trial and error as well. But if you’re no stranger to keyboard tinkering, it’s nothing you can’t figure out. Plus, there’s software support for more detailed customization.
Bottom line, if you love the creamy/clacky sound profile trend but rely on those media/function keys to breeze through spreadsheets and the work day, the Aula F108 Pro delivers.

I’ve been using the EPOMAKER Aula F108 Wireless Gaming Keyboard for a 2 weeks now, and I have to say, it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces of tech. This full-size mechanical keyboard is a game-changer, offering a mix of solid performance, versatility, and eye-catching design that truly stands out in the crowded gaming keyboard market.
First off, the build quality is impressive. The black gradient design is sleek and gives it a premium feel. The keycaps are solid, and despite being relatively lightweight, the keyboard feels durable and robust. It’s not too heavy, which I appreciate for portability, but it still feels substantial on the desk, providing a satisfying typing experience.
The RGB lighting is a highlight. It’s bright, customizable, and adds an extra layer of style to the setup. I’ve had a lot of fun tweaking the lighting effects through the keyboard’s settings, and there are plenty of presets to choose from. It’s just the right amount of flashy without being overwhelming.
